Heat treatment process of precipitation hardening stainless steel for angular contact ball bearings
1. The basic heat treatment procedure of martensitic and martensitic precipitation hardening stainless steel is: solution annealing in the austenite zone at 1010~1066℃, rapid cooling to room temperature for 15 minutes to produce martensitic structure; aging hardening at 480~620℃, 510~565℃ for 30 minutes, over-aging treatment at 630~676℃ for 2~64 hours and then cooling to room temperature.
2. The basic heat treatment procedure of semi-austenitic and semi-austenitic precipitation hardening stainless steel is: solution annealing in the austenite zone; rapid cooling to room temperature to produce metastable austenite; cooling to about -73℃ to transform metastable austenite into martensite, or tempering at about 760℃ to reduce the carbon content of austenite by precipitation of carbides, and then cooling to room temperature to transform austenite into martensite; aging hardening at 450~570℃
3. The basic heat treatment procedures for austenitic and austenitic precipitation hardening stainless steels are: solution annealing in the austenitic zone; b) rapid cooling to room temperature to produce stable austenite; aging hardening at 700~800C. The actual hardening mentioned in the article is a treatment that needs to be performed after the adjustment treatment. It is a way to strengthen the bearing material. When the actual hardening temperature is higher than 400℃, intermetallic compounds will precipitate from the martensite, showing a highly dispersed distribution, which plays a role in precipitation hardening. Aging at 500℃ can obtain bearing materials with high strength and hardness.
