Cross roller bearing

The cross roller bearings (TXR) produced by Timken Company are designed to provide the highest rotational accuracy and stiffness in a smaller space, while also saving material costs. TXR type bearings are suitable for machine tool applications such as vertical boring machines and vertical grinding machines. They are also particularly suitable for many applications where space is limited or where low possible centers of gravity pivot and base are required for rotating materials.

Design Features
The TXR type has two rows of rollers coexisting in one space, and their intersecting parts only occupy a small space, thereby reducing the material of the bearing housing, lowering machining requirements, and saving costs.
The line contact on the raceway and roller structure provides high rotational accuracy, high stability, and greater tilt stiffness.
The adjustable design of preload extends the bearing life, maximizes stiffness, and provides minimal runout.
This design facilitates lubricant injection and pollutant invasion.
Nylon spacers have low inertia and low operating torque.
The components are made of surface infiltrated carbon steel, with a rough core, impact resistance, and a hard surface.
